Why Do We Share the Gospel?

If you know Jesus, you know how good He is. You’ve seen His hand at work in your life, protecting, providing, healing, and giving peace when nothing else could. And if you’re like me, you can’t imagine life without Him anymore.

That’s why, when we see others hurting, struggling, or searching for answers, we know the only true hope is found in Jesus. We’ve tasted His freedom firsthand, and there’s nothing else like it.

As important as this life feels, it’s only a moment compared to eternity, which will either be a life forever with God or a life forever without God. Tomorrow isn’t promised to any of us, and we cannot imagine a life forever without God, because God is the source and essence of life, and without Him is death, chaos, and destruction.

The good news is that God, in His mercy, has made a way for us all to experience life forever with Him, and this doesn’t just start when we die but even while we are here on earth. And this can only be achieved by having the God life in you, and the only way to have this life is through Jesus, the Son of God and by the power of the Holy Spirit. But if we reject Him here, that choice carries into eternity. There are no second chances after this life. That’s why the gospel matters; and it’s not just good news, but it’s urgent news.

Jesus endured the cross, the shame, and the wrath we deserved, all because of His love. Then He rose again to prove who He is and to open the door for us to be reconciled back to Father God.

That same love is for everyone. Your family. Your friends. Your coworkers. Even the stranger you pass at the grocery store. God’s heart is that no one would perish—experience life in eternity without Him (2 Peter 3:9).

And here’s the thing, we are His voice. He’s entrusted us with this message so others can know Him, too. Some people have never heard the gospel clearly. Others have been hurt or misled. And some are just waiting for someone to tell them the truth.

Sharing the gospel isn’t just an option, it’s a command, and it’s an honor. We don’t do it out of fear but out of love. The same love that rescued us now flows through us to others.

“Because of His great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ… it is by grace you have been saved.” (Ephesians 2:4–5)

So let’s be bold. Let’s speak up. Let’s share the good news that changed our lives, because someone else’s eternity may depend on it.

Let’s share the gospel. Be blessed!
